Have you eaten at Cape May?

We just ate at Cape May on 9/25 for dinner. It was absolutely FANTASTIC!! Love it - good selection. Great waitress, Katie - she was very attentive even with having tables with large parties besides just the 2 of us. I ate so much boiled shrimp - and salads. Everything was amazing & I wanted to be sure to save room for the desserts - which were to die for!! Key Lime tarts were great. I wasn't as impressed with the Oreo Cookie thingies as I was everything else on the dessert side. It's definitely a restaurant I want to go to again - especially since we were celebrating our anniversary!!

Enjoy yourselves!!

We've eaten there almost every trip. The food is always fresh and hot. I love, love, love, steamed clams and get a few plates.

My only complaint it the buffet is set up as a 4 squared buffet and occasionally but not often, the line can get confusing.

We had dinner at Cape May the first week of August and it was great. Very crowded though and the lines at the buffet were long at times. Enjoy!

Have have been for breakfast and dinner a few times over the past couple of years. We love them both!

The food selection is great and the service always good at both. The food is always very good! The dessert station is okay but the rest of the food is great! Character interaction is excellent at the breakfast!! There are no characters at dinner. Very calm atmosphere at dinner. We have never waited more then a few minutes with an ADR. Make one. Because we have seen people get turned away many times.

This was an early favorite of ours but we've been avoiding it lately. I LOVE the steamed clams and mussels and will pig out on those and get more than my money's worth. But my husband is the one who has had a change of heart. They don't have as much fried stuff as they used to so he's a bit upset about them "going healthy". This used to be his only vice on a trip. But now he's basically reduced to the kids selections and the salad bar.

I'd go back in a heartbeat but he would have to seriously be talked into it. For him right now, it's not worth the money.

YES and we love it for breakfast and dinner...headed there in less than 2 weeks for both meals! The best breakfast in WDW

We ate there last summer for breakfast and the clam bake (dinner). We loved it and it is one of our favorites. The character breakfast was excellent with a great food selection as well as interaction with the characters. The "clam bake" had a wide selection of food, with a concentration on seafood but we will definitely go again.

Cape May Cafe:

The restaurant is considered a table service on the dining plan, and it is a buffet offering seafood and other kind of meats. You are offered chowder, clams, baked fish, mussels, peel and eat shrimp, as well as prime ribe, chicken, and best of all corn on the cob (yum). Kid's are offered macaroni and cheese, hot dogs, chicken strips and fish nuggets, and the desserts for all are extensive and yummy. Oh, those chocolate chip cookies.

The atmosphere is relaxed and a little noisy, not to worry if you have little ones.

Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

Love their breakfast, tried it for the first time last October, going back in December:cool1:

We really enjoy Cape May; it's tied for our favorite buffet meal (Boma being the other one). Also, if you are looking for a good character breakfast, this one is usually easy to get into and the atmosphere is not quite as noisy as the otherrs.

We ate there for both breakfast and dinner and both were delicious!!! Breakfast choices taste wonderful and the dinner....the new england clam chowder was one of the best I've had. The clams were good but the ribs, in my opinion were fabulous....

YUM!!! I have been there many, many times. Recently I have been focusing on ribs and macaroni and cheese. Before that it was mashed potatoes and carved beef. OMG...I am drooling!!!

We had breakfast there in August, and were happy with it. There was a good selection of food, and we had good service. We saw Chip, Minnie, and Goofy. There was paper on the table, and all of the characters had fun drawing on it on their rounds. We had a fairly late ADR, and the place was really quiet....a big difference from the louder atmosphere at Chef Mickey's!
