Have you eaten at Boatwrights for Breakfast?

I was mentioning in another thread how I thought people didn't know about this place, and that it has an awesome breakfast menu! The sweet potato pancakes are awesome-- and bacon, yum...they also have banana strawberry stuffed french toast....you guys gotta try this place.

I think it's one of the best places to have breakfast at WDW if you're looking for a non-character meal. It's a must if you're staying at POR or POFQ!

We are staying at POR next week and we have an ADR for breakfast at Boatrights. I hadn't heard any feedback so I'm glad to hear good things! Another reason to be excited that I leave in FOUR days!!!

We love Boatwrights for breakfast. Since we stay at POFQ on most trips it's nice to walk over in the morning and have a nice relaxing breakfast before starting our day in the parks. I love there Sweet Potato pancakes.

It's my DH's favorite breakfast... but unfortunately it's such a pain in the tush to get to if you don't have a rental car and you're not staying @ POR. We haven't bothered since 12/04, but I know he'd love to go back again!

I haven't had the breakfast but I'll have to give it a try sometime. I had dinner there and wasn't very excited about it....

But I love breakfast and the idea of yummy stuffed french toast makes me want to hop on a plane and go there right now....lol.... I'll have to give it another try but this time for breakfast.

We ate breakfast there this past September. It was wonderful!! Even my oldest DD - the non-breakfast eater - loved it!

druidcat - I would recommend an ADR for anywhere anymore!! I guess it depends on the time of year you are going and what time you want to eat.

We stayed at POR and ate at Boatwrights every morning. My husband had me cancel 2 buffets so he could have his banana stuffed french toast. I agree with the other reply breakfast is better than the dinner. They do have pecan pie and prime rib on the menu which was very good.

My husband LOVES the banana stuffed french toast too!

We've been going here since 1995, our first trip together before we were married. The resort was, and will always be Dixie Landings to us! I love the buttermilk pancakes. I don't know if it's the actual pancake, or the butter on top! We try to make it there for breakfast each trip, if we can!

We usually eat there 3 to 4 times a trip. We love their breakfast!!! We never make an ADR ..we just walk up and never wait more than 5 minutes. There are 2 waitresses there that know us by name from our 7 trips to the resort in the last few years.

After reading all the great reviews, we decided to try this on our next trip since we'll be staying at POFQ. We're going in September during free dining, so I made an ADR today just to be safe.

I wasn't too wowed by the omelet. It was about the same as the one I got in POFQ's food court, and it seemed more like a folded frittata.

The sweet potato pancakes, though, were awesome!

They used to serve a skillet breakfast that was out of this world. Not sure if they still have it. I liked the atmosphere there.
