South FL here, we mow all year. Well I don't, but DH does.

My neighbor just mowed mine for me on Thursday, and I did three times before that.

WOW!!! We never get to stop here! We slow down to every other week in Jan and Feb but come March we are back to at least once per week!

Even though some recent weeks I didn't see much of a need due to the lack of rain... but .. that's their schedule! Thank goodness for the lawn service!

Dh mowed ours for the first time this year. Got it done just in time for the rain . Most of the yard wasn't that long yet, but for some reason the grass under the kids play structure was about knee high .
