Have you checked your medicines for expiration dates lately?

I just went through my medicine cabinet and got rid of everything that has expired. Luckily it wasn't much, since I do this pretty often.

How often do you do this?

It's one of the things I do before every vacation. I clean out
the medicine cabinet as I pack.

Honestly we all take so little medicine around here that what we take does get used up way before the expiration date. The only one I check once in a while is our bigger bottle of ibuprofen. So far it is still good

I check them every 6 months or so. Most things I buy usually expire in July though.

Part of my job is to keep the shelves of DH's pharmacy current. So, I don't just have to do the medicine cabinet, I have to check a zillion bottles at work too!

I just did this the other day..I try to get to it every 6 months or so. This time I threw out half of my medicine cabinet!!

I don't have too much but I do check occasionally to see if it is still good. Antibiotic creams always expire before we use them up, but I keep on using them anyway.

We really don't have much medication around here that isn't prescription. Ibuprophen usually gets used up before it expires and that's all we usually have....this is a great idea though.
