have you booked your massage for the marathon day??

I just booked 4 appts at the Grand Floridian spa and there was only one time slot that could accomodate the four of us at the same time -- we took 4 of the 5 slots at 1 p.m. and she told me there were some remaining spots staggered throughout the day and lots of sports massages already booked!

just FYI -- i have no idea what SSR spa has open still; but if you are considered treating yourself after the marathon best to book now!

Molli, I'm sure you'll really enjoy those massages after the 1/2 marathon! Sounds like a great idea to me!

I did!! My DH and I have the aquatic sports massages scheduled for 3:00 at SSR. I made these ressies way back in March, when I definetly decided to go ahead with the torture..... I mean half marathon in January! Have you ever had a massage at GF? I've never had a massage....... period! I love the GF but made the ressie at SSR because I read that that spa actually is world renown. Ever heard that before?

I have had massages - not at WDW. The spa at both SSR and GF are run by the same company spa services link so I went with the GF when I saw we could utililize their center the entire day of our massage. For me this meant a place to shower without leaving the MK area before the massage! I figure we'll be running on adrenaline (sp?) after the event and stay around for a few hours until our 1:00 appt time. Also, the GF offered a sports massage.

I love th GF! And I really thought about going there for the massage, but I also wanted to check out SSR since we are DVC members. Now i just don't know what to do! Maybe I'll call again and see if GF has the same massage open at GF. Choices choices!!!!

me, mom and Nikki (evansmom) are all doing the sports massage at 1 p.m. on Sunday - my aunt is cheering us that morning and she's doing reflexology

i didn't mean to confuse you!! just sharing my thoughts on it all -- i think SSR would be wonderful too------just further away and I really liked the 'sports massage' though any one of them sounded heavenly!
