ROTFL!!! :rotfl:

methinks you all will have those dates figured out BEFORE I get back!:earseek: :teeth: :hyper:

Both sound good, but with an early Easter, it'll be harder for me to get away from the store in early March.
We've gone the last week of April/first week of May....weather is still nice....but, this is a TEXAS gal saying this, LOL!
We just avoided the MK on grad nights, but they don't start until the middle of May. At least last time I checked.

donna....PMed you back and I'm off to my sidewalk sale to have extra $$$$ for this trip!

We have such a wonderful group here. For a bunch of internet "strangers" we're the BEST group ever! Seems like we all just found each other for all the right reasons!::yes:: :teeth: :grouphug:

Ack! now, I'm going to have to get a tissue!

alice...I love the F & G at Epcot, too!
We can eat and drink our way around the world!
The LIZARD TOUR!!!!!

Kerry, mmausse, Woody...ya'll are in my thoughts and prayers!

Leaving out P& B sandwiches, cookies, gummie worms, pineapple bread and lots of cold beverages! Help yourselves!:wave2:

Also...has anyone told you today that you ALL are loved?:teeth:

Also...has anyone told you today that you ALL are loved?

BT - You are the sweetest!

I'm leaving Sunday and won't be back until next Saturday. Take care of each other.

Bambi - can't wait to see your BC CL pix, as we will be there a couple of weeks after you.

I'm just going to sit back and watch all the planning for the LL. What a hoot! :hyper:

So glad I found you guys. You keep me sane.

I know March is regular season, but once cast rates are set for next year, usually by Oct.1, I can get rooms at a cast rate. May tends to be busier and a lot hotter and more humid than March.

Ok, I stand corrected and convinced - MAY it is!:earseek:

BT Thanks for your kind words - I LOVE this thread (& the people) and feel the happiest when I am "talking" with y'all. ::yes:: Excuse me if I am gushing/tearing up a bit, it must be the meds. Or maybe it's a Southern thing. No sleep for 2 days and still can't eat right. BIG :grouphug: for all CL LLs! From the tips of my toes (on the good leg) to the top of the point on my head - YOU ARE ALL SO KIND AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Whats this about a one time Southwest extension? I have never heard of that one? I too have credits that are to expire before summer which was supposed to be my next trip. But It looks like I may swing down in April rather than waste the credits!

twinmomplus2new - When I had to cancel our July trip indefinitely, my SW credit showed up as having to be used by late April 2005. As I was unsure if we would take a trip before then, I called SW to ask if there was any way to get a refund due to the circumstances. The wonderful Customer Service rep told me how to go about requesting a refund, but while we were talking, I stated that we would keep the credit, but we were afraid we might not get to go anywhere until next summer. He told me that you can call customer service and they will give a one-time, 6-month extension on your credit. That was good enough for me, I decided instead of the hassle of trying for a refund, we'd use the credit for a flight next summer.

Then, as chance would have it, the great summer fare sale started, which allowed DD and I to fly to MCO in Aug., and have a credit for next year, too! That's how we were lured into this upcoming trip, pretty sneaky, huh?! I'm really glad, now, that we did, it's really taken our minds off of things to have something to look forward to.

HTH!

Debbie - LOL! The mental picture of poor, laid-back Dolly on ice skates made me laugh! Of course, the image in my head is more of a cartoon-character Dolly, I don't think the real one would have any of it! :teeth:

BT - you are such a sweetheart! BTW, has anyone told you today that you are loved, hmmmm? I think we all join in on that one!::yes:: :grouphug:

mmausse... to you! And May, it is!:sunny:

Getting excited! Just have to throw a couple of things in my still-packed (never really completly unpack) suitcase and we're outta here!:wave2:

as donna said.....
"Last day of work for me before I enter vacation mode - I can't wait"!!!!:hyper:

NOW...Tomorrow is my last day of work!

Evening offerings of chicken wings, beef tip stew, berry cobbler, and other goodies are all out!

I apologize if this Concierge question is answered somewhere in this massive thread, but I didn't find an answer, so, here goes...

As you can see from my countdown clock, we're going to WL next week. We've booked a Standard Room, and although we'll be happy if we get a complementary upgrade, we'll be fine if we don't. However, as the day draws nearer, I'm getting enticed by the idea of Concierge service, especially if at check-in it's available to us at a reasonable upgrade price (I've read of some amazing upgrade-to-Concierge deals).

So, my question is: can you get Concierge SERVICE (i.e., access to the food, lounge area, staff) without staying in a Concierge ROOM? If it is possible to ask for the service but take your assigned room, will that make the upgrade less expensive and easier to get?

Thanks, Lounge Lizards. :smooth:

First off, WELCOME TO THE LOUNGE Ronald Duck:wave2:

As for your question, I have had good experience at being upgraded at GF to CL and keeping my room. In my case, I wasn't charged anything additional for the CL privileges - I asked very nicely when I checked in if it ws available and that I had always wanted to experience it. GF checked my previous trips and gave it to me gratis. I was hooked ever since then::yes:: !

Ask, and ye may receive.

Have a GREAT time and I'll look forward to hearing about it when you return!

MMAUSSE: Thanks for the kind welcome, and the quick (and encouraging) reply...I fear I may be spending much more time here in years to come:rolleyes:

I'll surely give it a go, and hope for the best!

Welcome to the lounge Ronald Duck. A word of warning - there's no turning back after becoming a Lizard!

Getting excited! Just have to throw a couple of things in my still-packed (never really completly unpack) suitcase and we're outta here!
BT Are you related to my DH? I reminded him that he needed to pack this weekend as he is really busy Mon. and Tues. He sheepishly responded that he was pretty much still packed from May! I do believe I have some laundry & ironing to do now!

Breakfast goodies are on the sideboard - enjoy!

Well folks! Need LL advise-DH has given his blessing to add one day to our trip to BWI -CL in October. To do this, I have a small penalty for changing airline tickets (very unflexible), I have to pay rack for the extra night, I have to add another day on our rental car and change our airport limo service. We wouldn't have park tickets for the last day (no prob - I have unused Univeral/IOA passes)-all things considered it would probably cost us about $800 for one extra day (plus DS misses another day of HS).

What do you think?

(BTW-UPHP that are included with our pkg-We have Pkg booked Oct 9-16, Room only for the 17th (since we were going to leave early on the 17th)-when do the passes expire? Can we use them the whole day of the 16th?).

Your UPHP passes are good for the entire day and night of the 16th!

You're SO Lucky - Halloween is my FAVORITE holiday there!

Have a GREAT trip!

Ok, I have been doing some checking on rates for our September trip. We have ressies at the Dolphin for a conference rate of $199 a night + the $10 a day resort fee. Dh's company is paying for it. I looked and we can get a standard view room at the BC for $209 a night. DD3 is going with us and loves SAB, I wonder if I should bring this up to DH? I know that the Dolphin has those great beds, but it would be nice to be able to go to SAB. What do you guys think?

We leave next week:teeth: We have stayed in concierge numerous times, but I just wanted a reminder of what isn't out (food and drinks) that you have to ask for. I think juice boxes and yogurt, but I wasn't sure if there were some other goodies they keep in the back.

Could you switch your package to be 10/10-17 and add the additional room only to the start so you get full use out of 1st day of UPH? I really can't say if it would be worth the extra $800. My practical side says no but I would probably do it. You could consider running some numbers on what it would cost if you purchased AP's. Rumor says rates will be out Sunday. Maybe you could cancel your package (you're still more than 45 days out) and get all 9 nights at AP and have passes for all your days. Of course PAP which include water parks are much more $ than regular AP's and your UPH include DQ so I guess it would depend on what you planned to do. Also I'm afraid an AP will cost me lots of money because I'll want to keep going back to get full use out of them.

Good luck deciding!
