Thanks BT & Tess for helping the technically challanged today!:teeth:

I LOVE my new clippie!

Ohhhh-You're new clippie is beautiful cajunfan-I too am technically challenged-I've tried this myself and just can't get it!

Good luck Mmause! P and PD to you!

BT those new clippies are awesome! Bubbles is totally cracking me up! I can just hear "Under the Sea" every time he is on my screen!

Can't pack yet, we're still in graduation party planning mode! This afternoon and evening I'll be rushing around doing all of the last minute details. Tomorrow night the packing may commence!

Have a great day, everyone!
Debbie

KerryCM-here's hoping for a speedy recovery P&PD!!

Thanks for the info-don't worry you'll be fine for October-200%.

I'm so excieted! Wishes is scheduled every single night of our Sept trip! Usually in Sept, it's only on Sat nights!!

Whoo hoo! What a great time to be staying on the 14th floor of the CR. I wonder if they pipe the music into the lounge too.

I also emailed the concierge staff to request a copy of my PS itinary. They emailed in back w/in the hour! So NICE to have gotten CRT at *95* days out for whatever time I wanted!

Can't wait!

Question, does anyone know if the lounge has juice boxes for the kids? My dd loves them and it would be nice not to have to drag them down.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome.

#1hockeymom - We actually requested reservations for the Sunrise Safari back in November 2003, when we initially made our room reservations. Andrea assured us this week that our request was noted and that she would be scheduling the Sunrise Safari for us at the 90 day mark. We can't wait, as we have heard only good things about the safari.

:hyper:

I've got a question for BT or anyone else who might know. How do these private Illuminations dessert parties work? The reason I ask is that if you book them through Epcot Events, then they have pretty large requirements for the number of people to even have one (e.g. you must have 20+ guests to book through them). We had an Illuminations pre-reception at our wedding, and it was both my and DH's favorite part of the evening (well, other than actually becoming husband and wife, LOL!). I would LOVE to surprise him with a private dessert party while we watch Illuminations for our first anniversary. Can CL set these up for you even if it's for just the two of us?

ead79 - BT can probably answer in greater detail, but I'm working w/Melissa at Poly IPO on a smaller private event. From the prices I'm being quoted, the set-up charge & gratuity make it kind of cost prohibitive to do for a very small number. You can PM me if you want prices - I don't want to post them here. She said everything of this nature goes through Conventions & Catering now, so it's a little different than when we did a small dinner for our anniversary. I bet Janet2K could really give you tons of info.

akghutton>> You're going to love the safari! When you get up that early you'll wonder why, then you'll wonder why you ever griped about getting up that early! The breakfast afterwards is absolutely delicious, too! DS wants to go again next week, but I have decided that twice is enough for him and we have other things to do during our short time there! (Plus, no way DD, aka Sleeping Beauty coined by Thabo at the Dolphin, will wake up that early!)

Last of the crudites/dips/spreads/crackers/breads and such was bought! The party may begin! Someone make this rain go away as we were planning on using the boat and the jet skis for DD's party! Once the party is done, the packing may begin! We're going to Disney World!

Have a lovely dry night, everyone!
Debbie

#1HM Have fun with the party. I hope the rain stops! I am sure you'll have a great day no matter the weather.

I had an e-mail from k&a&c'smom today. Actually the past 2 days we have been e-mailing each other. She is doing OK and is still planning her trip to WDW for August with her daughter. Despite what she is going through she found the time to e-mail me and ask how I was! What great friends I have here. Alice here is a big

:grouphug: for you .
Have a good night everyone.

I am so glad to hear she is planning on the August trip! She had told me about that during our phone call. She deserves some smiles! Hugs to you Alice! I've been thinking about you!

Debbie

Hey all!

I came back from a WL/YC (both concierge) stay late May-early June, and I just wanted to thank you all! It was wonderful, and I'm glad I took a chance...In fact, I didn't have a concierge reservation for the WL, and, on a whim, asked for an upgrade after reading about that possibility here. We ended up with a magical castle-view room, and a wonderful beginning for our trip!!!

While we may not go concierge again for our February trip (just my teenage sis and myself), it won't be because it wasn't worth every penny...we'll be too busy to take advantage of all the concierge goodies. But who knows? I'm obviously easily persuaded :)

Again, thank you. I would have come by earlier but I had a nasty leg infection which required a two week stay in the hospital, plus a long recovery from surgery (that was quite a vacation! just kidding ;) )

 :sunny:

mmausse I hope things went well for you yesterday. I was thinking of you.:)

#1 HM Hope the weather has cleared in your part of the country. have a great graduation party and the get packing! Baby Anokle is calling to you.

BT Thank you again for my cute clippie. I love it. My husband got a kick out of it.

I got an e-mail from Annalisa at IPO today. they have made my PS for the Princess Breakfast, Madyson will love it, cape May and our tea. Cape May is for our arrival day for dinner and breakfast will be Friday at 8:50. We have never eaten her and are looking forward to it. Tea is in celebration of Faye's (DIL's mother) birthday. Carri and I decided to get her the chocolate slipper here. I am trying to convince Jimmy and Carri to have their anniversary dinner at Narcoose's so I can order them the mini wedding cake as a surprise.
I am trying to tie up all loose ends before my surgery. I love the planning part. Can't wait for surprises, etc.
Hope everyone is having a great day.

When I spoke with Matt at IPO Thursday I asked him if they could send my oldest DD(5) a card from Pooh. She still believes that Pooh is Pooh not just a costume and she's always telling me how much she misses him and asks me if he misses her too so I asked if she could get a card from him. He said no problem and asked what the others favorite characters were. I said Pluto or Mickey for DS and Tigger for baby. Imagine my surprise when I got a package yesterday with photos for all and something I had ordered. Only problem DD(5) got Mickey/Minnie, DD(1) got Tigger, Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and DS(3) got Pluto. The photos are GREAT but DD(5) doesn't like Mickey and will be so upset that baby got Pooh. What should I do? I am really so grateful to IPO but I just can't give them as is. Should I ask IPO for a new Pooh for DD(5), should I try to find the same color pens and address all photos to all? Should I just not give them out at all? Do you think they'd think I was royal pain if I ask for a new photo? I don't think DD(5) would care if her's was the same as baby's. I don't plan on giving them out til MUCH closer to our trip. I can't take 90+ days of "is it almost time to go to Disney?"

Kerry-how about a trip with your friend in Dec? P & PD to you for your surgery.

Debbie-hope the party went well and the packing goes easy. Tell Alice I've been about her! She and her DD need the trip!

lovesdumbo I would love to go in Dec. Our birthdays are 2 days apart at the beginning of the month. If I am still out on my medical leave, which I might be, I will go. Working for the Disney stores we are inable to take vacation from Nov. 1-Jan.1. It really stinks because this is only a prt time job. My one saving grace may be my availability. I can't work fridays or Mondays and Sundays I don't work because of church. I wouls only nee to request 2 days off, so it may work. jet Blue has awesome rates right now. I may buy a ticket . I am having dinner with my friend tomorrow night I will have to see if she is game! Thanks for the suggestion.

Hi all I need help.

Just read 30 pages to update myself. WOW you people are a busy group. ::yes::

I called Song today and they canceled my flight and forgot to move us to another one. I am now booked to leave a day earlier. Staying at POR. Room only ressie as the flight wont get us there until 6 pm.

Here is my big question I am also booked AKL CL 9/22-27. How do I get us and the luggage there for my checkin from POR? There are 5 of us. Do I call a taxi? will bell services move us? Do I have to check in at AKL CL to get our UPH's? I am so

Should I just call Don and see what he says as he is handling our stay?

Also I REALLY want to bring him something from MA what do you think he would like that he wouldn't be able to get in FL.

Thanks for all your help!!!

fran99999 All you would need to do is call bell services at POR and have them transfer your luggage to AKL. You can then either go enjoy a park or go to AKL and check in. Your luggae is usually there no later than 4pm. If you want to go enjoy the lounge and pool keep a small bag with you.
Now for something from MA. I have brought down Boston t-shirts, maple sugar candy, maple syrup. I made a basket up for my IPO one year and had a Yankee candle and other New England goodies. Those sugar lobster lolipops are also great.
Whe in Brockton do you live? I live in Raynham but taught at the Ashfield School before my "retirement". Do you ever go to the Disney Store at the Galleria in Taunton? I work there.
I will try to think of other ideas for you.

I live 3 streets over from the Ashfield school. Just before you get to East Ashland St. My DD went there for 1 year then I transferred her to St. Eds. I wanted her to have more one on one with the teachers. Yes I do shop at the Silver City Galleria on occasion. I just found it about 6 months ago. As I hate to shop I go as little as possible. I can only shop for about an hour then my knee starts giving out. (need knee replacement but stubborn).

I will ask at bell services at POR when I arrive about transferring my suitcases. Will I have to go to AKL for UPH's, or will POR be able to give them to us?? They dont offically start until 9/22 when I check out of POR. I really dont want to waste a morning going to AKL to get them but if I have to I have to.

Thanx for the great ideas for the IPO I will start to accumulate next month I am taking some visiting relatives from Australia/England to Plymouth to show them the sites. They dont understand Plymouth rock is just a BIG ROCK. I point to the one down the street and tell them it looks like that but its on a beach in a Moselum type thing. LOL They never say I want to see the Mayflower or Plymouth Plantation. I mean it is a BIG ROCK!!! They do agree when they see it though :p

fran99999Unfortunately you will have to go to the AKL to get your passes. If you take a taxi from POR to AKL it will be much faster.
I have to laugh about your relatives! My mom is from England and when family or friends come over she brings them down her to go. (she lives in NH). I remember when friends of hers were here and we went to the Plantation, they had a ball. The actors asked where they were from and if they came to live a free life also. :hyper:
Another good idea I did once was a clambake in a bucket! I got it from Atwoods Lobster Co. in Maine. It was not expensive and a big hit. It can be tricky though if you aren't aware of their likes and dislikes. I am sending a box down this week for the cast at the Innkeepers Club. My son is a manager for Pepsi and has gotten together some t-shirts and visors and a few other little goodies for everyone. They were so great last Oct when we went. Stephanie went out on her own time to buy him Pepsi products for the room. It is a running joke with everyone that he wouldn't even drink the bottled water because it wasn't Aquafina!:rotfl:
