#1 HM...my cell phone talks to me too...and tells me the NAME of the caller! I LOVE SONY products...all of them. Especially our Vaio & little AIBO's, they are precious. So glad to hear your baby Ankole has thrived since you last saw it in the Spring. You should have a pic. on your page!!!

Another beautiful picture-perfect day here in So. Cali! Time to call and place a stop on the paper, mail, and water delivery, etc. Then squeeze in some afternoon R & R by the poolhouse/pool (*In preparation for our impending trip!! )

DF - Not too much longer for you! I'm ready to go back already.... sooo do you have any room in the suitcase of yours? I missed my little trips to the lounge to grab some goodies, pull up a chair with my book to read. Sometimes I would even take my goodies back to my room and read on the balcony. DH & DS were religious nappers while we there so it gave me an hour or two to myself to take in the scenery or just curl up with my book (which I cherish). I only took one nap in preparation for e-ride night. I just couldn't sleep while I was there as there was just too much to soak in.

The hot stone therapy massage was great at SSR Spa. I loved the look and feel of SSR, too. It's beautifully decorated. It was my first spa treatment and I'm hooked on that now, too! I'm glad I booked 80 minutes because even that just flew by. I was so relaxed during the treatment that I felt myself dozing off here and there. I believe I could do an entire 1/2 day spa package next time.

Off to dinner we went at Living Seas @ Epcot right after my treatment. A nice to drink started my meal followed by a wonderful crab gazpacho and tilapia dish that sent me back to the room to sleep like a baby that night.

Oh, we did have a blast. I've got a year to plan another great trip! I promise I'll get to the part where I post my pictures. I'm weeding through them now to get some of the best shots.

Called CRO and found out the new AZR code is good for the one bedroom suites at AKL. Unfortunately, they are totally booked for the time we are going so spread some pixie dust my way that a room will open up. (It's over $100/night savings off the regular rate with the code.)

But if not, I'm still headed for that fantastic concierge lounge at AKL. Can't wait.

PRaffen - Yep, there aren't too many 1 bedroom suites so it's like you struck gold when you get one! I tried to go the same route with no luck. Sending a super duper scoop of pixie dust your way for it. Seeing the 2 bedroom suite is a confirmation that they are worth it.

Tammy - it doesn't matter how many people you have. We were just a party of 9, but it would be just as fun with a party of 2 or 3. I don't know if they would do that again since they offered as a substitute for the Grand1. I would love to do the same when we take my MIL next year...I'll keep my eyes peeled to see if this is something they will offer again. BT has some connections and is a great sweet talker, maybe she can sweetly tell them how to package it.

Ok, ok...I have to get myself back to work. Focus!

The new code, applies to AKL 1 bedroom suite, I am not sure if anyone posted this yet. But it's $635 per night. For mid August.

I was hoping to add one night on at the end, But have been voted down!

PICTURES! I love them all! From the safari rides, to dessert parties, to finally putting faces with the writing! THANK YOU! I know we all just love seeing everyone's vacation photos and it is especially nice when you've posted so often to have a face to go with the posts! Everyone is so happy and beautiful! I second what luckywife said! The kids in all of the pictures from everyone are just so sweet looking! I love seeing Disney through a child's eyes!

AKL suite on sale! Wonder if that would fly with DH? But honey, its on sale! That would come in so handy for my trip with the kids. ACK! I am in agony! My baby ankole keeps mooooing my name! I hear AKL music in my head! I can smell the lodge, feel the couch, and taste the wine! I am afraid I might not be doing very well at attempting to branch out to other locations!!

DF>> My phone plays the Pirate Song from Pete Pan. I wanted The Lion King, but those didn't come out sounding right so I stuck with the Pirates Song. Worry not, as Pumba and Timon are my screen saver! I don't know what we'd do without our phones during the school year. Everything gets planned while getting to the next location! BTW>glad you bought a pair of those cute sandals for yourself! They were just too cute for words!

VaGAL...~What a fabulous description...loved every word. There's always ROOM in my suitcase for you! First stop...the Peabody CL, then over to our Villa suite at the PBH, then 10 eves in a Villa @ DVB resort...before the big KEY WEST adventure, and up to the Dolphin to take up residency for the remaining 5 weeks~! Are you UP for that?
Now...you have me thinking about the hot stone therapy at the SSR spa! We are contemplating a "look-see" at this new time share, as we've heard nothing but positive things about it. We stayed there, when it was the old "Disney Institute" (DD loved the camps & classes). Your description is fabulous...and has piqued my interest once again.

I LOVE the Coral Reef in the Living Seas, and always dine there two-three times per visit. DH loves the snapper & Tilapia, and especially the LOBSTER BISQUE!! It's heavenly. I enjoy the shrimp cocktail (Giant), and the filet with a lobster tail. DD had a scallop/shrimp pasta dish on our last visit, which was out of this world! Of course...for dessert, we all order the chocolate WAVE! It's a signature dessert for this restaurant. Everyone should experience the WAVE at least once!!

Your reading and relaxing as your DH & DS engaged in "napping" sounds rejuvenating...as I too, enjoy such introspective moments. This time to myself permits a nice calming and centering, which always lightens my mood (AS if it's ever dark...lol). This is why I meditate daily, and also do pilates. I LOVE the time spent alone. I'm quite metaphysical...and enjoy scents & sounds (aroma therapy, etc.). SPAS are pure "heaven" to me!! Thanks again, for your eloquent post and insight.

#1HM~LOL...I KNOW what you mean about the phone calls, and the suites!! I'm treacherous when it comes to such things!! It's just too hard to hang up the phone, when an offer/availability is RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF ME. I ALWAYS reserve...and then justify it with the Cancellation policy (like I'm really going to cancel...right!!)

I'm so glad I bought new phones last fall...when DD began driving. We use them ALL the time! I used to detest them before (as I disliked being accessible...constantly!). Now...I do not give the # to anyone other than family/close friends, etc! All the license plates we have are personalized, and also protected/private at the DMV, etc. So...if Law Enforcement...or anyone runs any plate, they come back to a special address...etc. Anonymity/privacy is a treasured element! Our phone numbers do the same.

I bought DH & I the Sony Ericsson T616 phones, with cameras and internet access, etc. DD & I send text messages to one another, and pictures too! It works very well...

I bought DD the Nokia 3650, which has video streamline with audio cap, and camera...internet, etc. It's a cute phone, and has a cover the same color as her Turbo beetle!

How did we ever get along as kids...without cell phones?!? (LOL).

Enjoy the beginning of the week...! Today...is my BD!! Already had lots of FUN since I awoke...with more adventure on the way. I'm departing this afternoon for a special eve @ DL....
