Have you been able to get Convention Twilight Tickets?

I am wondering if there aren't any more sales of twilight convention tickets at all or if just certain conventions get them. I'm getting mixed messages from Disney: I just emailed them and they told me there aren't any available any more, although when I called a couple of weeks ago they said I could get them, but I needed to get them at my hotel. I thought I read recently that someone got them for their convention in a few months. I'm confused about this.

I have never attended a conference so my information is second/third hand information. My understanding is that you have to get them THROUGH the convention you are attending. They are not available through Disney directly.

That is my understanding as well.

The twilight tickets offered for an upcoming convention I am attending are $75. They have to be purchased thru the convention website.

Twice I've been to a convention where Disney had a desk where you could by tickets. I don't know if they checked credentials because both times I had an AP. But I don't think it's worth it to trek over there on the off chance that they're there and willing to sell.

It is usually handled through the convention so Disney may not have information or has it but won't give it up. They either sell them in person at the convention or the convention will have a link to buy them through.

I always see them only through the convention and they aren't discounted enough to make it worth waiting until 4 to use them

Thank you for all your replies. I don't see a link on the convention web site. One CM said I could get them at the hotel so I will try that route--hopefully my daughter will get something that says she is an attendee.

Attendees get credentials when they check in for the convention. With the credentials, she should be able to purchase.

Has your daughter tried contacting her convention directly? They may have emailed the link and she missed it.

Is it also possible that not all conventions participate? Depending on how many days she is planning on being there, it might just be better to purchase a multi-day pass.

Yes, this is a great point! Not all conventions do twilight tickets, despite being so close to Disneyland.

Did you book your hotel through the Disney convention page? Is it onsite? I know they definitely have twilight tickets for Dapper Days coming up next month. I booked my on site room through the convention page and accessed the ticket link that way.

You could also try calling the Disney Convention line at 714-520-5005.

Thanks so much for all the suggestions. I am thinking her convention might not offer them, but I'll have her double check. We are staying off-site and one CM said we could get the twilight ticket at the hotel. My dd will only be in the area for two days: (we are going to MHP on Monday) and I am looking for a twilight ticket for Tuesday because we aren't free until 4:00 p.m but would love to spend it together in the parks and don't want to pay for a 1 day ph (I have a 5 day ph as I'll be there earlier playing with my bff before dd arrives).

A non-hopper would be a little bit cheaper, if you end up buying a full day ticket.

Yes, I thought of that but we will be in DL for MHP on Monday and hoped to go to DCA on Tuesday from 4 until closing (8 pm) and then hop on over for 2 more hours to DL. I just don't think I can justify the cost of the non-hopper for 4 hours or even 6 for the hopper...that's why I was so hopeful for the twilight, and I appreciate your suggestion :)

I have bought convention twilight tickets, and the link was through the convention site, but you really really had to click through and look to find it. At the same convention there was a desk area for Disney twilight tickets in the convention center, and some people bought them there. I think you did save some money by going through the convention site ahead of time instead of on premises.
And not all Anaheim conventions offer it, it seems, just some ...
