Have you ate at "Shutters"?

We are meeting friends in WDW, and had a difficuly time finding reservations for 11 of us. We were able to get into Shutters for dinner. Any comments? My family (6) is not hard to please! We do not eat out often at home, so when we go to WDW, we really enjoy all the restaurants!

We have not eaten at Shutters yet. We have an ADR for a dinner there in September. I started looking for more info on the place after I had already booked the ADR. Since it's only open for dinner, there just doesn't seem to be a whole lot of info on the place. I understand that the atmosphere is kind of bland and the food is reviewed mostly favorably. So, we are going to give it a go. I will post a review when we return. Maggie

We ate there in Sept '03. It was nice, I don't remember anything bad. You can check at www.allearsnet. for the menu.

Tried it Sept 2005, we were not impressed. While the chicken wings were very, very good (as were all the wings we tried throughout the Disney resort), I quickly lost interest in the crab cakes, and the entrees, just weren't tasty at all. DH had the steak with shrimp add-on, I had the mojo shrimp, and DD had the chicken breast (that she flat out refused to even touch, although that may have just been her because it looked just fine to me). The decor was a bit on the simple side and there was not very much action there. We did have a bit of a short wait, though when we were seated we did not see many people there. Our waiter was extremely efficient, but not very friendly, we did tip him extra though.

We've been to Shutters twice while staying at CBR. We enjoyed it both times - it's nothing spectacular, but overall experience there was positive. I hope you enjoy!!!

Thank you for the replies. We did check the menu, and I know one of the kids would be happy with just the wings!
