ah. kind of odd they boxed themselves in like that. might be part of the reason they are delaying registration for light side this year?

That would surprise me. Since 2012, runDisney has always had a 1/2 marathon weekend in Disneyland over the MLK weekend. For 2012-2014, it was Tinker Bell and beginning in 2015, they switched to Star Wars. And this year they emailed links to 2017 Star Wars runners to register for the 2018 race already. I'm not the only one who did so. I don't see them changing the date at this point.

Of course the first marathon weekends were JUST the marathon and then JUST Goofy, so they didn't require as many days off from work as Dopey does.

In between only the marathon and Goofy were the years when the full and the half were run at the same time on the same course. Ah, the days of small races.....

Flip the two since marathon weekend has far more runners?

However, if they flipped going forward then I could also do Princess!!! So I like both these for my own purely selfish reasons! Lol!
