Have to vent! WDW changed AAA rate

I got a call from my wonderful AAA agent yesterday with the AAA rate for AS Sports for March, 2005 of $77. I got so excited and called her back today to go ahead and book that rate for me even though I had my reservation as AS Sports that I did myself with a rate of $109. Well, she told me that when she called WDW to book that $77 rate they told her it was not in the system!! They sent her a fax yesterday with that $77 rate on it!! I am so mad. I do know that the rates will come down with some type of code or AAA discount but I was so ready to go ahead and get that part of my planning out of the way. Back to the waiting game.

My friend at work is going in October and called AAA to purchase the discounted park hopper tickets and was told that AAA will not longer be selling these as Disney pulled their contract from them. Perhaps Disney is wanting to handle everything themselves now that Eisner has run Disney into the ground. The big Walt dream killer.

Oops, sorry. Did I make that sound like I don't like Michael Eisner?

check out the AAA Vacations website-looks like they still offer Disney tickets etc online. The also provide a tollfree number.

Wow...I just ordered my Park Hoppers through AAA a week ago and they arrived yesterday! Maybe a close call.

Last week's AAA magazine still showed discounts on hopper passes.

try looking on mousesavers.com they have codes you can use alot. Just got moderate for $94. If they don't have it right now just book with Disney then call and give them the code & they will change your reservation. I did this three times the last time i booked. and got moderate for $74.

I just bought tickets last week at AAA. As others have said they are still offering them on their web site as well.

That is a great rate. I have a room reserved at AS Sports at rack rate for now. I will keep checking here and Mousesavers and the AAA agent said she will keep checking too.
