Have they "outsourced" DVC reservations?

I've had that vibe for a while. I miss the service I got when I booked our first trip to the GF in 2000. The CM on the phone confirmed my name "J as in JAFAR, A as in ALADDIN, N as in NALA, E as in EEYORE." Too cute!
Oh I had a CM who did this for my ressie in Jan. And he told me all about the new construction at DCA he spoke for 15 minutes. He did wonders for getting me excited about our upcoming trip. Then I called back a month later and actually was looking forward to making a payment on my trip, based on the great phone conversation last time. Only to get someone who sounded like they were working from home. No special anything I thought maybe I called the wrong number. And was a little skeptical about giving my card #.
I even had a hard time understanding her accent, and had to ask her to repeat herself several times. I was a bit dissapointed.

I would have a very, very difficult time givng my credit card number to anyone that I "thought" was working @ home...

I am familiar with a work at home company that has Disney as a client for Dining reservations, general reservations, etc for their independent wah contractors.

I don't see how that increases your risk one iota given you are not responsible for fraudulent charges to your card. It's well documented that CC numbers have been stolen at gas stations all around WDW, not to mention from WDW resort front desks and WDW restaurants, none of those people was working from home.

My understanding is that it is not easy to become an independent contractor for the wah companies as they have stringent requirements to apply and a extensive background check of credit history and criminal history before approval.
