Have they given away a DVC yet?

My favorite prize is the DVC membership! I will be there a few days in a couple of weeks, then again in December, and I've been mailing in postcards to increase my odds. My daughter ( who lives in a different town a few miles away) and I both won lanyards one day, then ears 2 days later! That was wild. I had been mailing in postcards for both households, but that was still quite a coincidence!

And in the “a friend of my uncle’s cousin’s wife’s sister won…” category – I think I know someone who was there when the first DVC membership was won. Would have been late last September, and no, she wasn’t the winner.

I don't want to argue, but didn't this promotion start in October? I can't remember anymore.

You're right - the official rules say prizes were available beginning October 1, 2006:

The Disney Dreams Giveaway (the "Giveaway") provides participants with the chance to win prizes starting on October 1, 2006 and ending on December 31, 2007 (the "Giveaway Period").
