Have the prices increased on the hotels?

When we first got AP's in 2003, I used to get great nightly rates at the various Disney resorts. Now, 10 years later, we are still AP holders but I no longer can stomach to look at our nightly rate. Even with a discount, the rates are still sky-high. I now set a final figure in my head of what we will pay for the whole trip and somehow that makes me feel better than if I looked at our nightly rate. It's just psychological, I know, but it works for me:thumbsup2.

Oh, I realize I'm not going to get a 2005 rate. Anything UNDER $300.00 at a deluxe resort is for what we're searching. We have left-over park-hoppers that we're going to use. I used to work for various airlines and already know it's the passengers/guest responsibility to call back and check for a lower rate.

I would say that you might get a standard room at the AKL or WL or a garden wing room at the CR for under $300 in January (with a RO discount). That's assuming 30% off rack rates and availability. The other possibility would be the swan/Dolphin.

Good luck!

What's an RO discount? I'm clueless on this one.

Thanks!
