Have the Parks Been Opening Early?

The posted opening for both IOA & US is 9am for the month of June. I have read to get there at 8:30am because they frequently let you in at 8:45am. Has US been doing this lately?


Also - I know WDW will frequently keep MK open an extra hour - does US do this if things are crowded?

I am getting so excited it is hard for me to think about anything else!!!!

My wife and I went to IOA last Saturday and got to the turnstiles at 8:45 and they were already opened. Don't know how early but it was before 9:00. They do not do a scheduled "early entry" like at Disney. Hope you have a great time!!!

We were there thurs-monday and a few mornings that we made it there before 9A the park was already open. One morning it was 8:30 and Universal was open. I havent seen them keep the park open past close time but we also were not there during the busiest time. We did stay till close and it was still open though winding down (consessions closed and such) the stores were open past close.

Yes, wake up early. Get there early.
IOA usually opens at 08:45am. On very busy days it's 08:30am. Of coarse, this is not official. But most of the time it's true.
It's a wonderful feeling to be first into the park, and get that first ride on Hulk in the front row. Then do Spiderman, Dr. Doom, look down at the watch and it says 09:05am. What a feeling. Come back at noon and each ride will say 60 minutes to wait. Ha ha.
That's when I use my express pass for Hulk (yes, I know onsite guests have it made), and then use single rider line for Dr. Doom.
Then goto my hotel, take a nap, and come back that night when the tired are leaving.
