I am interested in possibly renting points for a week long stay in January 2007 at BWV or BCV. Would like a studio. I checked the points chart and it said 104 pts weekly. Is this accurate? Also, since there is only three of us, can you use points for a regular room? I couldn't find any info on that. PM me or email: ehwalsh@neiu.org

Yes, a full week in a Studio at BCV is 104 points. At BWV a preferred view Studio is the same, but a standard view Studio is 85 points. Weekends are double the point cost, so if you are willing to make other arrangements for Friday and Saturday nights a lot fewer points would be needed. (The best "value" using DVC points are for Sunday - Thursday nights.)

DVC points may not be used for reservations for rooms at BWI, BC or WL. All Moderate resorts and Deluxe resorts (except for those noted) may be reserved using points, but the costs will be much higher than the DVC studio.

Reservations for next January may be made beginning in February of this year, so once you know your dates and which resort you are interested in going, just post your request on the Rent/Trade Board and see if a member can assist with your plans.
