Have prices gone up?

Didn't take the time to compare to early 2007, but these 2008 prices all look high to me. We may be sticking with our Fall 07 cruise after all.

not sure what the April 2007 prices were when they first came out, but the April 14, 2007 sailing RIGHT NOW is about $1,000 cheaper than the April 12, 2008 sailing that just came out today! So prices went up quite a bit!

Don't forget the different "seasons" The price changes based on the time of year that you go.

Now I just compared mine to 07, the cruise isn't showing up..not sure if sold old, but the week after, which is eastern vs western is over $1500.00 more for 07. Mind you, it is a popular time of year and only 4 months out.

From Mardi Gras Week 2006 to MG 2007, our rooms went up at least $1000.

One key factor is that MG 2007 is the same week as President's Week and I think that was the major factor.

Comparing MG 2007 (2/17-2/24) to MG 2008 (2/2 - 2/9), the price has dropped by about $800-$1000.

What's the difference? President's Week isn't until the 2/16/08 cruise. Comparing my 2/17/07 rates to 2/16/08 rates -- those are only $500 more.

I was wrong above! Checked again and the price for the April 14th, 2007 7 day Eastern, at this very moment, is the exact same price as the April 12th, 2008 7 day Eastern! To the penny exact!
