Hello all,

I have made my reservations for the meals while we are at WDW and just had a few questions.

1. Crystal Palace 8.05 am - How long will it take us to get from the carpark to the restaurant? (I can't remember from our last trip)

2. Le Cellier 1.10 pm - I have only booked this as it gets great reviews, and was a bit excited to be able to find a time slot on line. Now I am getting a bit worried as I am not sure, given it is now signature, if it is the type of place that 3 small children will fit in. They are generally well behaved but they are kids when all is said and done. Do they have crayons and stuff that they hand out to keep them entertained, I will bring some stuff but don't want to have to lug a whole heap of stuff with me around the park.

3. Ohana - I had originally booked for 6.45 as there was no other slots and just went back on line and found 5.00 pm Yay so booked that and cancelled the other one. At this point not sure what park we are going to be at, I assume we can park at the Poly for this meal?

4. Tusker House Breakfast - 8.00 am Again how long will it take us to get from carpark to breakfast so we are not late for our meal.

5. Whispering Canyon Cafe - 5.00 pm Anything I need to know on this one?

6. Hollywood and Vine - Fantasmic Package, What things can we do in DHS between dinner and the show, given I assume it will be crowded, we only plan on showing up for the dinner so I assume the fast passes will have gone. Actually kids probably will be happy to spend the time playing in the Honey I shrunk the kids play area.

7. Chef Mickeys 5.10 pm.

Thanks to everyone for their reviews and suggestions I hope my list looks ok.

Kirsten

LeCellier is well worth it and dont worry about the kids. It is in WDW so it is kid-friendly, we have eaten there alot as it is my DD11's favorite place.

As for travel time for early ADRs (before park open) make sure to leave yourself about 45 minutes because not as much transport runs that early.

Enjoy your trip.

2. Don't worry about it. When I ate in there, there was plenty of kids. And your going at lunchtime, I imagine the atmosphere will be more relaxed and casual anyway.

3. Yes you can park at the Poly if you have a dining reservation. Just tell them at the gate.

5. Whispering Canyon Cafe is probably in my top 3 favourite restaurants. Great atmosphere, lots of fun for the kids. The food is delicious! Make sure you ask for ketchup.

6. Hollywood and Vine gets a lot of bad reviews on this forum but it's a favourite of mine. Always had great service here, and I actually love the food choices too.
In between the meal and Fantasmic, you could try the Little Mermaid, or go to the Animation Building where lots of characters hang out.

Everything looks good, the only exception is that we did not enjoy our Hollywood and Vine dinner when we went. We thought the restaurant was dirty, service was horrible, and the food was ice cold. We have yet to return to that place, however you may get a better experience than we had. We much rather do Mama Melrose for the F package. This is an Italian restaurant (think spaghetti for the kiddos) with really good food and service. Other than that, all of your other ADRs look great.

As for Le Cellier, it is only going to Signature status for dinner, your time slot is for lunch so no worries there. Also, your kids will be just fine there, my kids are 9 and 7 and have been going there for a couple of years now and have always enjoyed it. They do offer a coloring book and crayons to keep them busy, but I believe most if not all of the restaurants offer that. For your early morning ressies, since you are driving, I think the advice that PP said about giving yourself 45 minutes for travel is perfect. Have a great trip.
