Have not rented a car in ages....help

I was hoping someone would be able to help me.

I am taking my mother to Las Vegas and I need a minivan or full size car from January 27 to February 6 but have no idea where to start.


A long time ago, I rented a car in Orlando and someone on this board gave me coupon and ID codes to try on different websites but I searched for months.

Does anyone have any good codes for January that they could share with me. I am desperate. I have been sick for weeks and I need help. I hate doing things last minute like this but I had no energy to plan when I was so sick.

For last minute traveling you can always use priceline and name your own price.
It works well, only problem, its non refundable so if you have to cancel you lose.
You can save 50% on fares. Therefore only use this service as close to the date
as possible.
Last time I used this, all other quotes was for 350.00 for 5 days (New Orleans)
priceline got me a 198.00 5 day rental.

Also check your own car insurance to see if you are insured in case of an accident. This way you can waive the car rental insurance. That can save you $12.00 a day more or less.

Some credit card companies offer this too.
