....or is this just a false alarm. Sad to say, but unfortunately, I've never received a pin code so I don't know what one looks like. A couple of days ago, I was playing around with some potential dates in May of 2012 for a stay at Pop Century; didn't book or save offers or anything like that. This evening, I received an email from Disney Destinations which contained the arrival and departure dates I had looked at, the resort as Pop Century and the fact that I chose the Deluxe Dining Plan. It read:

"We’re so excited you’re thinking about another stay at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. With three themed pools and retro theming, this whimsical Resort takes you back...and we’d love to have you back!

Click above to check out the Resort photos we picked just for you.

Book now to complete your vacation plans or to view other dates and accommodations."

At the bottom, it has the phone number and says "Be sure to mention package code "xxx".

Is this IT?? A pin code???

Sadly, no. That package code is regular price... they send these out and they look the same as Pin code emails, but it lacks the Pin code. It's lame on their part. VERY lame.

I got one too..for AKL..I was playing around with dates for August 2012..and got the same email.

I have never received a pin..my dad did, mailed to my address bc the last time we were there we went with my mom and dad. DS and I went in April and I am hoping for the best for a pin for next year..we shall see! Good luck!

I would call and check anyway - many of the resort pin codes have been three digits...worst case scenerio, it's not what you want and you say "Thanks, but no thanks" and wait for something better:goodvibes

I thought it might be too good to be true, but I guess it can't hurt to call. I always thought a true pin code would be a long set of characters/numbers. I got soooooooooo excited though. Oh, well....there's always next time (fingers crossed)!
