Have I lost my mind? Cat 8/9 have verandas?

I was just playing around with the DU part of the site and saw that they list cat. 8 and 9 as having a private veranda. Is this true? We could save some really money if this is something I didn't know.

Cats. 8 & 9 are Oceanview staterooms with large windows, sorry no verandahs. Verandahs start with Cat. 7 the Navigator's verandah, a closed in verandah. Then Cats. 6 and higher have the opened private verandahs.
