Have I gotten myself into a fix?

Oops! Staying at Coronado Springs, but got tickets to Spirit of Aloha at Polynesian for Thurs. Aug 7th. at 8pm. We're not sure how long the luau lasts, but if it's later than 10, the parks are closed, so how do we get back to our hotel...if it was earlier, we would shuttle to a park, then shuttle to CSR. Any advice?? Thanks!

Don't worry - the transportation system runs well beyond the park closing times. Disney certainly wants everyone to get back to their resorts - especially at the conclusion of a show. I am sure there will many other guests at the performance who need to return to their resorts, too.

If MK is closed just take a bus to DTD then switch to a bus to your resort.

You might also consider renting a car for your stay.

You can also ask the Poly valet staff to call you a cab. I find this much more enjoyable/time saving than taking buses and transferring at DTD.

BTW...My family did the 8pm Luau show last month. I didn't have a watch on, but I'm fairly sure it ended right around 10. We were at the GF and walked back to our room and it was well after 10 when we got in.

For that late at night, Iwould takea cab. It won't cost much. CSR is about 15 minutes away from the Poly. The buses to DTD would do it, but take FOREVER!

Phew, we're okay! I feel much better knowing we won't be camping out on the beach of the Polynesian that night! We'll have to rely on Disney since I'm only 20 (and the oldest on the trip), so I can't rent a car.

MK is open until 10:00 on 8/7. That means you should be able to hop a bus back to your resort at MK or the TTC. Have fun!

I vote for a cab. We have done this after having dinner at some of the resorts and find it quick and convenient.

There are -NO- resort buses at the TTC, aside from WL/FW. Best bet is take the boat or monorail to the MK. The monorail drops off up until one hour after the MK closes for the specific purpose of transfers.

I would take a cab. I've taken one from the Polynesian to CSR before and it only cost about $15.00 or so. I couldn't be bothered with transfering all over the place to get back.
