Baby Switch .....

If there are 3 of us mum,dad and ds 5 does it mean I can take ds on the ride whilst dad waits in the queue and then when we come of ds can go on again with dad :confused3

Do most of the rides that ds will be able to ride only let 2 people in the "car" at a time - is this the reason for baby switch - or will we be able to enjoy some rides all at the same time ?

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I am a 1st timer (one month to go  0) and I am starting to feel a bit over whelmed at everything I am gonna have to remember

As always thanks in advance for your help !

Hiya Michelle!

If you have a baby/child too young to ride, one carer queues up as usual rides the attraction, the other carer waits at the exit with the baby. When the first carer comes off they tell a cast member that the other carer is waiting, then you 'switch' so the 2nd carer can usually ride straight away. Hope I explained myself OK ;)

The baby switch is used if a child does not or cannot ride then the other members do not have to queue seperately.

So if you and your partner wanted to ride space mountain - you ride while OH is with the child then you get off and OH gets on.

What we used to do for Dumbo, teacups etc was one join the queue a bit further back than the other and the child gets two turns then. We always got a few tuts though ;)

There will be plenty of rides you can enjoy together - Snow White, Pinochio and Peter Pan seat 4 per vehicle - 2 in front 2 in back usually.
Small World, POC, Teacups seat more
Carrousel you can get horses next to each other or sit in the carriage

Dumbo, Orbitron and Buzz only seat 2 but you can all ride together in 2 'vehicles'
