We are early risers and will be there for the park openings. We will probably ride what we can before the lines get long, then leave the park for lunch/break. What family restaurants are near Universal and/or Sea World. :confused3
I think I read somewhere there is a Cracker Barrel close by, and a Perkins?

Anyone have a map with restaurants on it? A step up from McDonalds' please, but not Mythos.......fairly close to the parks.:yay:

i'm pretty sure Internation Drive (aka I-DRIVE) intersects with univesal blvd and there are plenty of restaurants on this street. if im not mistaken theres probably a dennys near by which i find to be good after a day at the park because of the comfort food and selection. sorry i can't be more of a help:confused3 good luck on your search for good food!

There is a Cracker Barrel near the Double Tree and Holiday Inn Hotels on
Major Bld. It is the Major Blvd/Vineland Rd area. Along this strip there is a
Fridays', Golden Corral and a Denny's.:yay:

If your family likes barbeque, you should try Bubbalou's in the Kirkman Oaks shopping center on the corner of Kirkman Road and Conroy/Windermere. It's awesome bbq and you get a lot for the money. Also, Firehouse Subs is just down from Bubbalou's and has really good sandwiches. The shopping center is about 10 mins from Universal.

Here's a website you can search on by area:

I definitely second the vote for Bubbalous. It's the best barbecue ever!

I'd also recommend Sweet Tomatoes which is at the corner of Kirkman Road and International Drive. It's a salad bar but much more; soups, pastas, breads. Very good. My teens love it.

You can also go to mapquest.com and get pretty detailed info on where restaurnts close to you in orlando
