Have any Canadians in the September MagicBand test had MagicBands shipped to home?

Hi All!

Just wondering if any Canadians participating in the September MagicBand tests have had their MagicBands ship to their home as opposed to directly to the resort (as was the case during the August tests).

I just customized my magic bands today! I check in on September 3. I had to fill in my address, but it didn't say one way or the other if they would be shipped to me or sent to the resort.

I think it depends on where you are staying. They seem to be choosing different resorts each month to participate. I'm sating at Beach Club. I just kept checking the MDE app, and one day it allowed me to make fastpass + reservations. Two days after I did that, it allowed me to customize my magic bands. You will love WDW! It's the best place ever!! Enjoy

You mean, the option for Magicbands and fastpass +, can change any day on MDE account? As for now I dont have the option for our September trip, should I keep checking everyday juste in case?

Yes! I was checking daily, and finally one day it was there! First was just the fastpass + option, then two days later the magic band option! Good luck

Well thanks for the info, I Will keep checking everyday. We are checking inn on SEpt. 22th at Pop maybe we will fit in their test

OK, this morning the opportunity for booking Fastpass + were on MDE account, no MB, and no e-mail notification from Disney, what does this mean?

I didn't receive an invitation either but I was stalking the POR board and found out that I was eligible b/c we are arriving on Sept 5th. I am crossing my fingers that it will all work out when we get there. I also did the fastpass for Be Our Guest so hopefully that will work too!

Fastpass+ showed up first for me as well. Two days later I was able to customize magic bands. When I was able to customize the magic bands, there was a note that said I was receiving these magic bands as part of a qualifying reservation package.

Just like you I was able to customize our MB , I had the note that they would be sent home...I still had 2 days to customize, no e-mail from Disney thoug. Does it come with Mickey Mail?

My Mickey mail arrived before I had the option to customize, so I'm guessing the bands will be there for me at check in

But nothing saying they are being shipped yet it keeps saying act quickly time is running out to customize your bands...

I hope they are at the resort when we check in were 17 days out and hope that they are personalized...

We keep getting the same "act quickly" message too and it has been almost 3 weeks since we customized our bands. No message/ email saying that the bands are shipped yet. We are leaving in 10 days.

10 day is the cut off for the shipping so if you haven't had them show up yet I think it the resort pick up for you Let us know how it works out.

Just a FYI - I just got off the phone with Disney and asked if they are shipping the bands to Canada and they said that they are in "a testing phase" and the bands will not be shipped to Canada. We can pick up the bands when we get the resort but they will be the "standard" bands (i.e. grey in colour and not the nice fancy ones).

I was advised that we can still pick our Fastpasses in advance, just not get the coloured bands.

Kinda a bummer but I'm still excited about getting to try it out.

I've read that all guests checking in to PO Riverside as of Sept 3 will be offered MagicBands as part of a regular roll out of the program and not part of testing anymore. We were about 31 days out from check in at POR and were offered the opportunity to customize our MagicBands. I'll let you know if they ship them to us.

I got to customize my bands last week, mid-week. It now says they've been shipped. I'm about 2 weeks out, so I assume I'll get them soon? I will report back when they arrive!
