We're considering a trip in Sept, right after labor day. Normally since we have APs, I'd just book a hotel off site and be done with it. But I recently noticed that they are offering exclusive AP vacation packages.

I'm unsure if we'd stay on site or off. It would depend on how good of a deal we got. But what interested me the most is that we would be able to get the MTTMM passes. We've never been able to do that before. I think the kids would love it. I could care less about the lanyard (have one already) or the pin (don't collect them), though the priority seating might be nice....

So if you've book through DTC, did you find it saved you any money? Or was it cheaper shopping around and just booking on your own? Also, if it was a tad more expensive, would you think it'd be worth it just to be able to do MTTMM? My kids will be 4.5, 3 & 1.5 at the time. Thanks!

Best thing to do is pick some days and check the prices. I've had it go both ways. Sometimes it better to get the Disney package, other times not. I dont think there is a set/ standard answer.

Morning madness is a cute little addition, and it does save time in toon town. In the one hour you are there for morning madness you can meet the characters (Minnie, Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, Max, Donald), ride the few rides in toon town, and watch the ceremony.
