Have a question about AP?

If AP Rates come out and I am planning on purchasing an AP, can I get the AP Rate when booking the hotel? Do they ask for the AP number when you call or do you just have to have an AP at check-in? Now I'm considering if we get AP's to get the good hotel discount, maybe we can go again at the end of October 2005. Anyone know what the crowds are like then?

I am so glad I found this board, but it is very addictive.

I am going for Mardi Gras (2/5-2/12). There is one really good thing about living in south Louisiana. Our kids are out of school for 3 days that week. Oh, sorry two good things about south Louisiana, the food.

you do not need to have the AP in hand when making ressies- you can buy when you get there!

Thanks. I am thinking if really good AP rates come out for Feb. I can make ressies for 2 rooms and then get an AP. It will be worth the little extra just for the room savings. Also, another few question, can I book 2 rooms, one for me, one for my parents? Do all of us have to have AP's or can just one of us have an AP to get the discount? And lastly do I have to pay for both rooms since I have the AP? My parents have days they did not use from previous trips, so they won't need an AP. Sorry so many questions. This board is making me Disney crazy.
