OK…apparently, I am not the brightest bulb on the tree:rolleyes1 ! I have read, reread and analyzed the postings for several days and now am more confused  then when I knew nothing about the Dining plan! I have a few questions (yes, I know that the answers are listed in the 11 pages…I have tried to piece it together….please, just humor me!)

1. Exactly what is the “counter service”?
2.Can we use a “Counter Service” in place of a “Table Service”?
3.Can we use 2 “counter service” meals one day and 2 “Table Service” another day?
4.How would we handle meal exchanges (if possible) if we spend a day or two not at WDW? (Sea World, but will lodge at WDW)
5.Does the “refillable” soda package require you to carry around a refillable mug?

OK…Thanks a million….Lee:flower3:

Counter service are the places that serve quick meals, you wait on line, place your order, pick up your food then try to find a table to eat at. Better than McDonalds, Burger King, etc.

Some have been able to use TS at CS during more crowded times. They sometimes will allow that and give you coupons for 2 snack items. They will not let you use 2 CS credits for a TS meal.

You can use your credits each day as you choose until they are gone. 2 CS one day, 2 TS the next. 2 TS at a place that requires them and a CS on the same day, only Snack credits one day if you choose, however you want to use them each day it is entirely up to you.

I don't understand "meal exchanges". The credits you get at checkin are available to use however you want at the locations that except them. If you are off property for a day or two at the other Orlando theme parks you do not lose your dining credits. I have not heard of the other parks accepting Disney's meal plan. You could eat a big breakfast at disney before leaving for the day or have dinner when you return or use your credits on the days you are at Disney for some of the 2 TS credit dining experiences.

The refillable mug is suppose to be used only at the resort you are staying at to get unlimited drinks from the drink station. They can not be used in the parks.

1. Exactly what is the “counter service”?
Non waitress meals. No reservations taken or needed.
2.Can we use a “Counter Service” in place of a “Table Service”?
No, restaurants either take CS or TS credits, not both.
3.Can we use 2 “counter service” meals one day and 2 “Table Service” another day? Yes
4.How would we handle meal exchanges (if possible) if we spend a day or two not at WDW? (Sea World, but will lodge at WDW) You don't have to use credits every day. If you are away from WDW you just use the credits on another day. Keep in mind you could still have a meal at WDW before leaving or after returning to WDW. You could also get sandwich type meals to go.
5.Does the “refillable” soda package require you to carry around a refillable mug? You would get a mug that is refillable at your resort, not the parks so you probably wouldn't carry it away from the resort unless you had a car and took it on your day trip: fill before leaving and upon returning if you like.

OK…Thanks a million….Lee:flower3:

Hope that helps.
