you can find resorts available but if you want certain ones your best bet is doing 7-11 month window ... you'll pay higher but you'll mostly get the resort you want.

I'm not sure if I'm posting this to the correct place.....We have DVC and we currently have a AKL reservation 5/26-6/3/18. I want to add 2 more nights on our current reservation, but only have enough between borrowing from my next use year + purchasing from DVC for one night. So I need about 34 additional points. How do I go about renting those? Thanks.

- first check if those dates are available
- after that you would need to find an individual that has available points to transfer (your only allowed only one per use year)
- being its past the 7 month window you can use anyone's points as long as the use year works for the dates you need
- once you find that individual all they need is to call DVC and your DVC# to transfer ( transfer points you will not be see on the DVC website so you would have to call to make sure those were transferred over)
- Another choice is have them book the night for you and you'll just need to link the reservations (that i can do)

(used my transfer of points for the this year so i cant help on transfers )

Thanks for your quick response. I THINK a 2br... We aren't 100% sure if the 5th adult will be going - which, in turn, is an entirely different ballgame.
Anyresort! I'd prefer the towers at Bay Lake, AK or the Poly, but realize that beggars can't be choosers.
