Haunted Mansion - Skipping Stretch Room?

For this trip to Disney, I'll be with my mom, her friend, and my two year old daughter. Since HM doesn't offer rider switch, depending on how long standby lines are, I might consider taking my daughter on this ride. I don't think the ride itself will bother her, but I believe the stretch room will for sure Does anyone know if you can still bypass the stretch room? I was only able to find older info that stated that you used to be able to, through a wheelchair accessible area.

Do have bad claustrophobia, and my daughter wanted to ride so my friend asked and said when we get to the front to let the girl know at the door, we did and they took us through a different door to the other side of the stretch room without an issue.

For what it's worth, my kids played on our phones the whole ride once they freaked out, and thy kept their heads down & were fine!
