Haunted Mansion on Halloween

Hello all, been a reader for awhile finally joined the crew.

My question is, does anyone have experience with how crowded HM is during or on Halloween weekend? I was able to secure fastpasses for our group a few hours before the Halloween Party, but I'm thinking I would rather avoid and choose another attraction if the fastpass wait might still be 30mins or more. Is that even possible?

Just have read a good bit about the extra actors and hitch hiking ghosts, I figured all those things along with the attraction itself could make it very crowded.

Honestly, you shouldn't need a Fast Pass for HM at all. With it your wait will be very low, but even without, it shouldn't get too crowded. If you are doing the party, it gets more crowded than some rides, but the waits would still be very low. HM eats people anyway, so it moves quick.
