I hear that the Haunted Mansion Holiday starts in early October. Can anyone confirm this and tell me exactly when it usually opens?

It usually opens at the end of September. Last year it was the last Friday in September. In 2007, it was one week earlier. There is no telling what will happen in 2009 because the 40th anniversary of the original Haunted Mansion is happening, and there is going to be at least one event to celebrate it. That event is on September 9, which is normally when the HM would be closed for the holiday overlay installation. So I am not sure if DLR is going to skip the HMH overlay this year, or just start the installation process later than they normally do and then open up HMH later than they normally do, or what. It seems like they would not have much time to celebrate the anniversary if they shut down the HM for two weeks to do the overlay, so that is why I wonder.... But normally it would be shut down for 2-1/2 weeks in the beginning to middle of September, and then open up at the end of the month as HMH. Perhaps this year they will open it in October?
