I just wanted to let anyone going on the haunted hayride to know you can purchase your tickets starting today. It was posted in a thread on the resorts board recently. I called 407-824-2734 this morning and purchased my tickets for 10/22. Remember to have a credit card ready when you call. This sure beats getting up at the crack of dawn to wait in line!

Wow thats really cool because everytime I go to the Fort I alway miss out on the hayride. How much are the tickets, I just called the number you posted but its busy, busy....

The tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children (3 -9). It took me an hour of hitting redial to get through. It should be easier this afternoon.

I got mine today and I was so glad not to have to stand in line...only about a 10 min. redial and I got in and got the time I wanted!!! The first day I'm there I do the hayride..what a perfect way to end our day!!!!

Hey Everyone. I just wanted to advised that the Haunted Hayride is NO LONGER the Sleepy Hollow/Headless Horseman. Beginning this year it is a new ride that is about the Florida town of Vineland and the mysterious disappearance of it's inhabitants just after the turn of the 19th Century. I'm sure it will be wonderful and done with great Disney aplomb. I just don't want anyone to arrive expecting Sleepy Hollow and giving the wonderful people at Ft. Wilderness a hard time about it. Have fun and please post how it is because I will not be able to take the Hayride this year.

we went oct 12 (friday night) just back today from the fort, The hay ride was a bit of a disapointment to me , but DD liked it and DH said it was ok I thought disney could have done much better with out giving away to much if any one has any ? I will try to answer them.

I'd like to know more you can pm me if you would like. I would like to know more about the story. We have tickets for the 26 while I'm excited I'd rather have the sleepy hallow one I think.
Thanks,

Can you tell me how scary this was....debating whether the kids could handle it or not.....Thanks :)

my daughter is 10 so she had no problem with it , there were some small kids about 3 or 4 years old on there and it didnt seem to bother them , they didnt hide there faces or cry. Have fun!

I called and bought my tickets too. Where do we pick them up? Will they give them to us at check-in or do we have to go to the kennel? Or do we just show up for the ride and the driver will know? Thanks. :)
