Haunted Hayride at Fort Wilderness?

I haven't seen anyone talk about it, but mousesavers mentions it. It also says to buy tickets earlier the same day. I'd like to make it the day we arrive (10/29) and was hoping to buy tickets before we head down there.

When we went a few years ago, the earlier trip was sold out and we immediately were sold tix for the next Haunted Hayride. Perfect! We popped into Trail's End Buffet, had a great dinner, toured around FW - we'd never been - and got on our ride.

I think the tickets were not for sale in advance - it was a "day of event" type thing. That may or may not have changed.

But SHHHH! So many people don't know about it! It was one of the most awesome experiences we've had in all our WDW trips!!!

We did this last October and it was fabulous -- they only sold the tickets at the kennel at Fort Wilderness the day of the ride. If you went that evening without a ticket, you could stand in a standby line and if there was room on a wagon after the ticketed passengers had gotten on, you could pay and get on.

My advice is to get the tickets fairly early the morning of the day you want to go (we got there from WL about 10 AM and the first three rides for that night were already sold out), and line up for the ride about 15 minutes before your scheduled time. This is one of those experiences when getting on the wagon first (and going straight to the back to sit) will make a big impact on your enjoyment of the ride . . .
