Okay, maybe not HAUNTED, buuuut
I convinced my husband to take a disney cruise in June of 2001 and we booked a 7 night for January, 2003 (18 months in advance). We had to cancel a DVC trip that led to lots of points that needed to be used quickly so we ended up taking a 7 day in Jan 2002, a whole year before our planned 2003 trip! During that time we got the $99 wonder cruise coupon and took a 3 day in September of 2002. That was 3 cruises in one year. I thought it was nuts. My husband thought it was nuts. We enjoyed every last minute and thought we were over it, buuuuuuut...
Help! I have even been too busy to really frequent the boards and since I wasn't planning a cruise this was the first to slip. Then I came back and saw a post about the 2004 christmas cruise and now at least once a week (more when things get stressful) I have dreams of being on the magic or the wonder. The worst part is that we have begun saving in earnest for a house and I don't see a DCL vacation for us in the near future. I got excited about the christmas 2004 cruise and then said "$6,000 for the two of us! Why that could pay for closing!" Maybe when we are in our new house and it's time to start a family we can take a disney cruise so that I can be like that woman in the "little souvenir" DCL commercial (the best commercial ever!)
Anyway, I just needed some sympathy. I know we're awfully lucky to have gone on the cruises that we went on and frankly I thought that people who did this over and over must be nuts but my subconscious is telling me that I am one of the nuts myself! Oh well, I think I already knew that. Anyone else pining away for DCL with no hope in sight?
