Hats Are In The Mail

The WISH hats and visors are here. I am trying to figure out the best way to ship them so the bills don't get destroyed in transit. I have a bunch of tyvex envelopes but am not sure they will work. I am going to try wrapping them in bubble wrap and see if that will work or if I have to get boxes. I am going to start on the labels after getting home from the gym tonight. Hope to have them in the mail by Sat.

Kathy - I forget, are they going regular postal or Priority mail? If PM, then you can get free boxes from the post office. If regular mail, then I would think wrapping would help.

Most people have no idea how much work is involved. The ordering is easy, now you have to package and ship.

Thanks for all your effort. We'll look stylish. At least now I will be able to look like a WISH participant even when I don't have my WISH shirt on.

Is there any way you could ship to the CDC participants first? It would be so cool to have our hats for the CDC, but ONLY if it's not additional work for you.

I'll second going to the post office and asking them, some of the boxes dont have a weight charge, (ie if the hats dont weigh a lot - you pay per weight of the hat - whereas the other identical box has an automatic dollar amount! (we ship scrapbooks, its cheaper to get the un marked box and having the post office charge us!)

The hats will be mailed out Sat priority mail. Some of you should have them on Monday.

Lynne reminded me that the hats are machine washable and that if the washing machine doesn't destroy them the postal service shouldn't either. I will put them in some bubble wrap though.

Lynne has washed her hats numerous times and they still look brand new.
