Hats and rides with lockers

Just thought of this one:

I had a skin cancer removed years ago and since then always wear a floppy hat to amusement parks, ball games, pool, etc. I am bringing 2 nice Outdoor Research sun hats with chin straps to USF/IOA this year. My boys will also be in fishing hats with neck straps. Am I going to be required to put them in a locker with my purse? Are the lockers at the point of the line where we are already indoors? I absolutely do not want to stand in line for an hour with my hat in a locker and the sun coming down on my head.

I wear ball caps and when ever I am going on a ride that I know it will fly off I take it off and sit on it and have learned the hard way when I was riding the mummy and forgot to take it off and it flew off my head and luckily the couple behind us caught it and asked if I lost my hat
