Yeah yeah yeah.....don't stone me for this one.

DH & I have recently lost some weight, we're doing that thing called healthy living & getting in shape. It's not all fun & games but hey, we feel & look a lot better! ;)

So is there nutritional facts to be found...anywhere? On menus online or another site? It would be nice going in to know what was an ok splurge...what's a big fat NO & .....what we could share.

There's no way I'm playing it safe w/ a salad at every meal! :scared:

The counter services places should have a big huge binder will the nutritional info in it. I know from experience that the one at Pooh's Corner is very big and heavy! (had to find out the ingredients in a few things before buying a treat for DS)

That would be great if they displayed their nutritional items on their menu..
We just really read their description for a meal(grilled vs fried, creamy dressing vs balsamic dressing, steamed veggies vs buttered, oily veggies)..

I received my bachelors in health science so I'm OBSESSED with eating healthy...except when it comes to their corndogs!:cool1:

Give it time, give it time....my degree is in exercise science, and, well, yeah....I've kind gone the other way for now. :rotfl:

j/k. not about me, but about giving it time. :)

here is how to make sure you do not over do it.......
don't eat the fried foods,
don't eat the creamy, foods
stay clear of the ice cream
don't touch the churros
and stay clear of the candy corner
:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

There I saved you a lot of work ....... now if you stick with salads, baked foods, lots of fruits and veggies again your calorie counting is done for you ..;)

But..but..but...does DL EXIST w/o all of those!?!?! :sad1:

But a Carmel Apple still has an apple inside so that makes it healthy right???? ;) :rotfl:

I actually lost 2 pounds on a recent 5 day trip to DLR. Basically, I abandoned the whole idea of eating 3 meals a day, tossed out the idea of "increased activity = increased calories" and just listened to my body. I had one "big" meal per day. I shared snacks (one snack) with both of my kids. One churros split 3 ways, one Tigger Tail split 3 ways (one or two bites for me, the rest for them), etc. And at meals I would eat a bit and pack the rest up. I was stuffed after 1/4 of the Monte Cristo at BB, but I made myself eat 1/2 of it. I packed up my Chicken Fusili at Redd Rockett's and ate half in the room one night and the other half the next night. I did have some fudge and other goodies, but only a few bites.

I also let the kids skip meals at the parks and eat a bowl of Easy Mac in the room (with some freeze dried fruit and whole grain crackers) at the end of the night and I would eat leftovers or a few bites of a snack. Really I let all of us have the fun stuff, but we had to split it between all of us and we rationed it out. Oh and we had water bottles and refilled as needed. So if hunger struck while we were waiting in line, we would have water and maybe a fruit leather, a pineapple spear or Fruit Crisps or some natural cheese crackers. If we were still hungry after the ride we shared a fatty snack if mealtime was far away.

So you can enjoy the goodies at DL without overdoing it. Just share with as many people as possible. I found that I was satisfied after a few bites. Never thought it was possible, but it totally worked!!!

I ate mainly at counter service...and all of them had a fruit option as your side with combos...so it was easy to skip the bag-o-chips.
