Our 14 year old DD (the youngest of our seven children - and of course, the most spoiled - just ask her siblings), is going on a cruise over Spring Break with her best friend and her family. We paid for her portion of the cruise and her airfare and she has saved her babysitting money for MONTHS for shopping excursions in the ports. Any other side excursions and meals prior to and after the cruise, and the hotel for after are being paid for by her friend's family.
I totally trust the family that she's traveling with, but this is my "baby" and I'm nervous at the thought of her on this huge ship for a week, without her mom.
Has anyone else sent their baby off on such an adventure?
