Our experience was in toontown also. It was around 4:00 in the afternoon. A CM asked if we were having fun and we answered an enthusiastic yes. She said "if you have a few extra minutes, hang out right here". About 5 minutes later, goofy, and pooh came out. Pooh walked right over to my DD (4 at the time), took her by the hand and rode with her in the first car on the barnstormer. It was quite a thrill. After the ride I asked her how it was. Her reply was, "It was really fun, but Pooh is not a big talker. I asked him lots of questions but he didn't say anything. He must have been really scared. But I held his hand."
Being amazed by my children's innocence and seeing their eyes sparkle is why we go to WDW. It's why many of our meals are "with the stars", and why we walk around in 90 degree weather for 8 days straight without complaining. Seeing my little ones run up and hug the characters still brings a tear to my eyes. God bless WDW and all the memories they help create.
