I found him creepy even before the "exposure." My kids have not seen him (I wouldn't mind if they did) but they know a little about him. Any time we cannot find something the running joke is that it must be in the Basement of the Alamo

I never have been able to stand Pee Wee for more than 30 seconds so I think I will spare my Dd!!

My thoughts exactly Oh no, Pee Wee Herman is exposing himself again.

Thought he was irritating before his arrest and now he is creepy and irritating!

Paul Reuben did do a good job as the drug dealer in Blow with JD though.

Looks like I wasn't the only one thinking what I was thinking when I read the thread title!

Loved Pee Wee's Playhouse as a kid. Loved his movies too! My kids have never seen him, but I bet they would love them!

We are fans too. Slowly my child gets exposed to lots of things from DP and I youth. SchoolHouse Rock, Electric Company, Zoom and now Pee Wee Herman.

That was the first thing I thought, too! Maybe the pun WAS intended.

My DH and I were adults when PeeWee became popular. His playhouse for kids was very funny , the Pee Wee's Playhouse for adults that it was based on (I think it came on HBO) was absolutely hysterical. The late Phil Hartman was Captain Carl. I am so glad that he is back on the adult circuit. Paul Reubens is such a great talent, it's really too bad that his career halted the way it did. I also wish he could have a kids show again, but I don't know if that would be accepted.

My kids watched Pee Wee's big adventure a few years ago, maybe it's time to break it back out.
