i just got home from aaa to pick up my documents for our vacation in 4 weeks. i was told by the agent who had my packet that since i booked my free dining trip in the first few day of the promotion when it was only available to disney visa card members that they didn't send me a voucher for the aaa storytime or an aaa diamond discount card. she made two calls to disney while i was there (not happy at all!!) and they confirmed that i wasn't eligible for these aaa perks. why??? i was never informed of this by my agent and thought that all disney trips booked thru aaa included these items. i've already booked the storytimes and planned to use the diamond card for parking and discounts on shopping and boat rentals. she said she is going to check with her manager on tuesday and get back to me. anyone else experience this or know if this is true??

I always thought you had to have a packaged booked with the AAA discount inorder to get the AAA perks. A AAA agent can book a room or a package for you even if there is no specific AAA member qualification needed but in that case you do not get the AAA perks as you did not book a AAA package.

I just got my package from AAA, and we are getting the free dining. We also got the diamond card, the storytelling pass and the parking pass. The only AAA perk we did not receive is the room discount, because of the free dining. I'd call someone and check into that again.

Okay. I thought you meant you used a AAA agent to book your package using the Disney Visa discount that was avaiable at the time and not that you used a AAA agent to booked an actual AAA negotiated package with Disney. If that is the case then you should get your AAA perks. Hope it works out for you.

I booked through AAA during the first few days of the promotion, put it on my disney card and received my package 2 weeks ago and received all the perks...I think you should too!

We had the EXACT same scenario. I just got my papers this week and we did receive the diamond card and the passes. We also got the voucher for Planet Hollywood.

I booked the free dining package using my Disney Visa on the first few available days. I got the voucher for the storytime thing. I didn't get the parking pass because I used Magical Express and the TA assumed I wouldn't have a car. My TA made the arrangements for me to get this at the resort when I checked in. (The hotel never gave it to me but I never asked for it either.)

You are entitled to all AAA perks when booking a AAA package even if you used your Disney Visa on a Disney Visa promotion.

One thing you should know. If you are there during MNSSHP the storytelling will not be going on. My AAA agent checked on that after I told her I read that info on here. And it was true. There was a whole thread on it about a month ago. I thought it was lousy that it was offered as a perk and then I couldn't use it because it is cancelled during MNSSHP or MVMCP.

Real dumb question, aren't those perks thru AAA, not Disney? So wouldn't it be AAA that should give them to you?
