Has this happened to anybody else, or just me?

hey everybody! I was wondering if anybody else had dropped their iPod touches and the screen has cracked. I dropped mine yesterday, but the "shattered" (I guess you could say) part is at the top right hand corner so it could easily be covered by a case. buy my problem is that there is this annoying crack going from the top righthand side to the bottom left hand side... will Appel do anything like sent me a new one or something? It still works fine but it's just annoying..... Thanks!

I know many who've done that before. I think Apple only will send a repaired one if the screen isn't working properly or the iPod is completely broken, basically unusable. I know kids with cracked screens, more severely cracked than what you are saying and they've gotten along perfectly well, so I think you shouldn't stress about it too much.

My sugession is to buy a new one. But I have seen lots of people that still use there ipods ofter they have cracked or shattered. whateva makes you happy!

Thanks for all the tips! I would buy a new one, but I'm brokeee.. Haha everything still works so I guess I will hold out until it completely dies... I have a couple friends who did the same thing a while back and everything still works for them too.... Thanks guys

If you have not used it in less than a year then they can send you a new one.
