Has this ever happened to you?

I took DSS17 to get some shoes he wanted as DSW. He saw them in an ad and really wanted them and said he was going to go buy them, I went with him because I thought I would look at some shoes for myself there. So he goes off to find his shoes and I find these gorgeous Miss America brand heels (they kind of remind me of Minnie Mouse actually, they're really high heels and they're bright red with white polka dots) so I try on the floor model first and they're exactly my size so i go to grab a box of the same size. It was clearly marked. By now stepson is waiting at the register waiting on me. So I go up and pay for the shoes. When I get home I notice that one is a 6-and-a-half....and guess what size the other one was?? An eight! I know I should have checked before buying, so it's my fault. Will they exchange them? Do I need to go back right away tonight or can I wait til tomorrow? Has this ever happened to you?

I would have assumed they would have checked them when you were checking out, most shoe stores do that. Either way, I would think they would take them back, I'm sure somewhere they have a box on the shelf that's the other way. They sound super cute!!

I should have checked them before taking them up to pay for. But yes they usually check them when you buy them but all the girl did was open the box, sort of squeal over them and say how cute they were, then close the box up again. She never actually checked the sizes.
I should have checked and hopefully from now on I will remember to because of this.
