Has there been any update on ROL?

I've been poking around and not really reading anything about when it might be ready. We are heading down in 9 days, for 11 days and I was hoping it would be up and running by then!

I also haven't seen any more reviews of the Jungle Book filler show since it first started, has that improved any?

Thanks!

Looks like our trips will overlap. I too was irrationally hoping that RoL might somehow open before our July trip. But, it seems all the rumors are for an opening more around September. I've given up hoping it'll be up for our trip in 2 weeks. Given the technical problems they've had with other openings recently, I doubt they will roll it out during the heaviest travel season, anyway - better to debut it in low-crowd September (assuming it's ready by then) to work out any kinks, so that it could be run more regularly in the higher-attendance Fall/Christmas seasons.

I haven't heard much about the Jungle Book filler since the early reports, but it didn't sound as though there was much that could be improved on as for the show itself. I expect some of the issues regarding lines and loading the theater will have improved by now, but as for the show itself, I think it is what it is. It would be hard to change too much on the fly, anyway. I'm going into it thinking of it more like a show you'd stop to see in the parks during the day, rather than something you plan your trip around at night. We are still holding a dinner package, but might end up just cancelling it. Maybe even skipping AK at night entirely.

RoL won't be running when you're there. Latest info points to around Octoberish

For what its worth...We saw the Jungle Book show twice last week and loved it!!

As PPs have noted, nothing official. For what it's worth, the AKL Concierge said they hope to have timing details or at least more information by August. Not sure what that means as far as when the launch might be (or if it really means anything at all).

I was there in April when it was supposed to start. We know how that turned out. I thought for sure we'd be seeing it in August, I even put it on my countdown timer. o_O
