Has the snow started anywhere yet?

It's 12:55pm here in central NJ (Mercer Cty) and it just started snowing!

Cludy here in Central MA, DS-17 is having a few friends sleep over tonight and DS-13 is having cousin sleep over. Ummm I would like them gone by 3 tomorrow but it looks like the storm will be ending then! If DH gets called into work and I have 10 kids in this house I am gnna go !

Darn, I was hoping it would hold off. I have a girl scout meeting at my house starting at 2p.m. and I'm next door in Somerset Cty.

About 3 inches here just north of Lexington, KY--it did not stick to any pavement though-just on grass, etc. Looks like much more snow on the south side of Lexington and in the Richmond, KY areas.

I don't think it's expected to begin in Connecticut until this evening, but the grocery store was a complete zoo an hour ago. Everybody is apparently terrified that they're going to be snowed in for a week. I took one look at the parking lot and drove right by. I can grocery shop on Monday, thank you!

Nothing but rain at 1:25pm in Northern Virginia! I am so mad because they canceled all school activites today and the kids had a concert that got canceled. It would have been over by 2:30pm. I'm beginning to wonder if we will see anything???

Another Northern Virginian checking in! It is snowing harder here where I am (near Dulles Airport), but none of it is sticking. My thermometer says it is 36 degrees out. The forecast is still calling for 6-12 inches, but I just don't believe we will get that much b/c it is too warm.

It started snowing tiny little flakes around 1:15. Nothing on the ground yet but the winds are starting to pick up. I'm in Central Bucks county not too far from New Hope.

Thanks, everyone, for the updates. I don't expect we'll get much up here in Central Maine. My DS and his new DW are in southern New Jersey-I guess they will be doing some shovelling tomorrow.

I am in northeastern Maryland, right at the corner with DE and PA. The snow just started in the past half hour. Very fine and light and not sticking to anything.

South of Boston here and are getting a foot. We have our bacon, eggs and cinnamon rolls all set for the morning (oh, and even bought a little package of Dunkin Donuts coffee, since we can't go out and buy it!). So I say bring it on Ol Man Winter!!

It's 2:20PM here and it's been snowing for awhile, but it's a wet snow that isn't sticking on the roads or even on the grass. Looks like it's picking up a little now. Hopefully it will start to stick soon.

We're in Montgomery County, Maryland, about 45 minutes N of Washington DC.
