Totally understand, im an ex travel agent and used to work for va so im all about trying different ones etc but i also love to spend money in disney and the malls!

What about a split stay at both Hotels

No that cost difference was just the lead in room type. Savannah option was waaaay more unfortunately

@Piglet. I used to like doing split stays but that doesn't work with the free dining plan option. If i did 5 nights with passes i get the free dining but if i move to another hotel i need to buy another pass at £200+ to requalify for the free dining

I'm hopefully sorting my trip out in January - I was very relieved to see the television advert the other night saying the free DDP booking had been extended to March 7th and the $150 Disney spends made it even better!

We're going to do Yacht Club or Beach Club, still a bit undecided and will be there very end of August.

Can't see it returning for this year, I think they would have included it their current offer if they were going to but never rule anything out with Disney.

Next year too early to tell, they have been doing it about 4 years now and its been very popular, enticing people like me back onsite. If they want to keep us onsite they wil have to keep offering it but we won't know until April(probably)

without the 40% off, it's not worth it to us...

right now i'm in a waiting game...
hoping i'll get a pin code for free dining from the american disney site..
(so that i can reserve a value room with free dining)..

i need to book for DD and DSIL who'll be at WDW for two weeks in august...

i'm sure the regular US free dining won't be in effect for when they're there (early/mid august).....last year i got a pin code for that period, but so far nothing....
if there's no US free dining, i'll have to hope for AP discounts on values for when they're there and then add on a dining plan to that..

right now they have their flights all booked, just no hotels...but i'm not worried....disney has plenty of rooms, it's just a question of how much they cost...

i should clarify - they don't have rooms for the disney portion of their trip, but they're all set for the alaska portion...they'll be in alaska for a week, then on an alaskan cruise for another week, then they fly down to orlando for 2 weeks (right - a full month in the US of A for them this summer )...
