I run into Dan sometimes over on the TPAS boards. Still seems like as nice a guy as ever.

well, I am still kind of new. Signed up less than a year ago. So I probably don't see the change you guys, who have been here a long time, see! I have to say, I have visited quite a few bulletin boards over the years, and the DIS is my favorite by far!

it moves a lot slower than it use to. I use to come home from work and start on page 5 or 6 to see where it left off when I went to work. Now I start at page 3 and it is usually where I left off! I think that has more to do with the games and exchanges having their own board now.

In all seriousness I think there are some things that are better than when I first started posting.

I remember some really really nasty people that seem to have either have been weeded out or gotten bored and moved on or have improved their dispositions somehow.

I remember one nerd that would tell me if I ever posted for the first time beyond page 3 of a thread, that I had "come late to the party" and my opinion wasn't welcome.

It's not like it's all sweetness and light here, and it shouldn't be - but I just don't see as much of that real dorky behaviour.
