We ate there on Saturday night and I have to say I think it's a good thing that they are closed now. It used to be one of our favorites, ate there every trip. The last few times I've noticed little things, like where you used to get a plate of entree for each person and a large bowl of rice, the past two times (May and Saturday) you were given a scoop of entree and a scoop of rice, for the same price. Up until Saturday we had never done the Dining Plan, always paid OOP. Each time over the past two years or so I noticed that the options on the Dinner Sampler for two had shrunk, well on Saturday they were down to choice of two soups, no more appetizer plate and a choice between three entrees, none of them spicy. I had always been allowed to sub Kung Pao chicken for the sesame chicken (same price), the waiter refused, so I had an entree, DH had an entree of sesame chicken and the girls had the sampler each getting the sesame chicken. They had a total of 12 pieces of chicken on their plate, whether as an entree or the sampler. He had to be practically tackled to get refills on sodas, then comesout at the end and says that the girls get a choice of the two ice creams since they had the sampler, he and I could have a choice of two cakes, chocolate mousse cake or ginger cake. We both had the mousse, IMO it was awful, like one of those bar cakes you buy at a cheap grocery store. Oh yeah, our bill (before
DDP and tip) was $106! My entree portion was sufficient, but all three of them wound up stopping at the French Pastry shop because they were still hungry. It's a shame because we used to love the food and service there, but this time it was like they had tried to cram as many tables as possible in there.
